To the editor:

A curious question – Isn’t something missing from this recipe? I made it as directed, looked at it in the bowl, wondered where the “bread’ in Gingerbread would come from so I added 2 1/2 C of AP flour and 2 tsp of baking soda. It came out fine.

I enjoy “Working Waterfront” very much and devour each edition as soon as it arrives. Keep up the good work. It is appreciated.
