The Islands Community Medical Services (ICMS) has published, for the second year, a fundraising calendar featuring images taken around Vinalhaven. Drawing from over 350 donated images, an island committee of artists selected 40 for inclusion in the 2006 calendar.
Last year’s calendar was well received. This year’s has more images, and is printed on better paper with improved resolution.
Calendars are available at Archipelago in Rockland or at The Paper Store, Port O’Call, Fisherman’s Friend or Everything Country on Vinalhaven for $15. They may also be ordered by sending $19 each to 2006 Calendar, ICMS, P O Box 812, Vinalhaven, ME 04863. Credit card orders will be accepted by phone; call (207) 863-4109.
All proceeds support ICMS, which provides the only medical and dental services to Vinalhaven and Matinicus.
