Laugh and Learn Preschool is in its second year of operations this fall on North Haven. Currently 11 children are enrolled in the preschool program, while and five toddlers attend the Little Urchin toddler program.

To help raise money to pay for the two teachers in the classroom and supplies, artist Pamela Grumbach donated a painting of the North Haven town dock, with a view of the casino. Pam is the mother of Keely Felton, Program Director of North Haven Arts & Enrichment. Primrose Framing of Rockland donated the frame and framing costs to the program.

Grumbach, a summer resident of Vinalhaven, teaches painting and drawing at George School in Newtown, Pennsylvania. A signature member of the Northeast Watercolor Society, she has taught a four-session watercolor workshop at Waterman’s Community Center for the past two years and has taught numerous workshops on North Haven and Vinalhaven in prior years.
