Against the Law

To the editor:
Why are “mid water boats” allowed to fish on bottom and allowed to catch any groundfish at all? The mesh size alone is against the law. I have watched this going on since 1991. I thought some would see what was happening, take the right action. Now I go to the meetings. If it wasn’t such a serious problem (our gulf being stripped)I would laugh. This makes me sick to see these people so blind to the big problem… If it is not stopped the system will collapse. It’s not hard to see at all.
