I found Ladd Olson’s story of his “learning difference” in the September issue of Working Waterfront very moving, so I have passed it along to local schools here in Chicagoland. It is an inspiring story of how Ladd has “taken the bull by the horns” and, with confidence, gone ahead to learn more about his learning difference so he can go ahead in life. As Helen Keller said, “Lift your head high and look the world straight in the face.” Thanks, Ladd, you’re doing that!
