To the editor:
As a recent transplant to Maine, and as a contributing writer to the Texas Observer, another small paper in Texas (where my wife and I just moved from), I’m picking up all the local newspapers I can. Yours is now my favorite, and we will probably subscribe for some friends who once worked in fisheries in Alaska… From the Observer I know it’s not easy to run a small independent newspaper, so you’re to be admired for how great this looks.
