Four officers have joined the ranks of the Maine Marine Patrol. Graduating the Maine Criminal Justice Academy Basic Law Enforcement Training Program on Dec. 19 were: Chad Webster of Farmingdale, Richard DerBoghosian Jr. of Greenville Junctio, Charles Tetrau of North Yarmouth and Joseph Booth of Lawton, Okla. Webster will serve in Gouldsboro, Tetrau will serve in Portland and Booth will serve in Wells. Patrol location for DerBoghosian has yet to be decided.
The Marine Patrol is a bureau of the Maine Department of Marine Resource that provides law enforcement, search and rescue, public health, maritime security, and public safety services on Maine’s coastal and tidal waters.
